I am experienced in traditional psychotherapy, mind-body techniques, and spiritual endeavors. Traditional therapy can be utilized to treat anxiety, depression, low-self esteem, relationship issues, and other symptoms. However, there exist other helpful holistic techniques such as yoga, breathing methods, affirmations, imagery, Tai Chi Chih, qi gong and spiritual knowledge. The use of these modalities can additionally open mind and heart to new levels of intuition, creativity, and wellness.
If a client wishes to bring spirituality into the psychotherapy, I will show how psychotherapy can work together with meditation, breath work, visualization, yoga, affirmation, Tai Chi Chih, qi gong and spiritual principles. This can open movement to more self-esteem, happiness, and freedom..
I have practiced yoga, meditation, and holistic health for more than 30 years. I teach these subjects regularly to individuals and groups, and have written articles for both local and national publications.
I have a license to practice psychotherapy in California from the California Board of Medical Examiners as a Research Psychoanalyst, RP Certification #205. Additionally, I have a license to practice psychotherapy in New Jersey, LCSW# 04904
